About This Destination
Pink Beach, or Pantai Tangsi, is a unique beach in East Lombok known for its pink-tinged sand. The distinctive color comes from fragments of red coral mixed with white sand — creating a beautiful gradient, especially under direct sunlight. There are three Pink Beach areas (Pink 1, Pink 2, Pink 3) in the Jerowaru region, each with different characteristics. Pink Beach 1 is the most popular with better facilities, while Pink 2 and 3 are quieter and more private. The waters are clear with shallow coral reefs ideal for snorkeling. How to Get There
From Kuta/Mataram drive about 2–3 hours to Jerowaru, then take a boat from Tanjung Luar. You can also drive directly to Pink Beach 1.
